Possible swelling and bruising for up to a week
Immediate; settles over 2 weeks
Typically 9-12 months
Overview
The tear trough is the hollow that runs beneath the eye. When appropriate, hyaluronic acid filler can be placed carefully to soften this area and address tired-looking eyes. This is one of the most technique-sensitive areas of the face, and we only offer treatment where we believe it is the right solution for you — sometimes it is not, and we will tell you honestly.
How It Works
Following a full assessment, including of your skin quality, bone structure and underlying anatomy, your practitioner uses a premium hyaluronic acid filler placed with precision in the tear trough area. Placement is conservative. For some patients, a different treatment — such as polynucleotides for skin quality — may be more appropriate. This is discussed honestly at consultation.

Is This Treatment Right for You?
Tear trough treatment is only suitable for certain patients. Skin quality, anatomy and underlying structure all influence whether this is the right option for you. Your practitioner will assess honestly and recommend an alternative — such as Plinest Eye polynucleotides — where that is a better fit.
