Overview

Polynucleotides are purified DNA fragments used in aesthetic medicine to support the skin's natural function and condition. At CARA we use the Plinest® range — highly purified polynucleotides designed to improve skin quality, hydration and overall skin appearance. They are regenerative treatments, not fillers — they do not add volume. Which product from the range we use depends on your skin and the area being treated.

How It Works

After cleansing and assessment, polynucleotides are delivered via fine injections into the treatment area. Your practitioner selects the right product from the Plinest® range: Plinest® for overall skin quality on the face, neck, décolletage and hands; Plinest Eye for the delicate eye area; or the newest formulation where a more advanced or targeted approach is required. A course of treatments is usually recommended, with gradual improvement over time.

Benefits

  • Improves skin quality, hydration and overall condition
  • Supports the skin's natural regenerative function
  • Targeted options for face, eyes and delicate areas
  • Not a filler — results look natural
  • Works well as part of a wider, structured skin plan

Is This Treatment Right for You?

Polynucleotides are suitable for patients with tired-looking or dull skin, early signs of ageing, loss of overall skin quality, or specific concerns around the delicate eye area such as fine lines and crepey skin. Your practitioner will confirm suitability and select the right product for you.
